Writers@Work is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has successfully promoted and supported a creative writing community–locally, regionally and nationally– for over thirty years. While attending W@W events writers can hone their skills and meet to discuss their work with fellow writers, agents, editors and publishers.
The goal of Writers at Work is to make a difference in the work and lives of writers, whether by giving them what they need to move on to their next draft, by connecting them to a community of writers, or by introducing them to the world of publishing. Each year W@W continues to advance its mission of helping writers at all levels of skill and experience develop as writers and succeed as authors. Through its conferences, competitions, and one-day workshops, W@W has seen talent brought to fruition and careers launched.
